Streit Manufacturing, Inc is an internationally renowned manufacturer of custom-designed armored vehicles. Originally establish in Toronto, Ontario in 1996 Streit Inc. has seen continual growth since its inception, and now has production facilities in both North America and the Middle East in the United Arab Emirates.

Initially we started out making vehicles for the North American cash-in-transit industry, focusing on vehicles designed to carry currency from point to point on a daily basis. From that beginning we grew our operation to the point where we could design and manufacture heavy-duty trucks suited to long haul operations.

During 1990’s our client base has expanded to include corporations and Law Enforcement agencies, which began to express their growing need for executive and covert vehicles for tactical units, as well as up-armor existing civilian platforms to maintain a covert appearance while offering executives and diplomats the protection they require.
Our designs and manufacturing process have remained innovative and cutting edge, which has allowed us to establish ourselves as a world class company, one of the biggest in the industry. Streit’s growth and development has led to opening of service and manufacturing facilities in other regions of the world.

Today Streit Manufacturing, Inc services government agencies, non-governmental organizations, private security firms, and cash transit companies worldwide.

Our computer aided design and drawing expertly are created by our engineering staff we also have recently expanded our North American operation to a second facility that now includes a Trumpt Trumatic L3030 laser, this laser can cut up to 1” thick material and has 5’ x 10’ cutting table. The benefits to our customers are a tighter process and improved quality control. We have also added fully operational tool and die shop. The combination of these features along with the performance of our new laser allows for an ease of integration into new and existing design improvements. We employ a large staff of highly skilled craftsmen, whose only focus is to hand-build each vehicle to the individual client’s specifications. All vehicles are manufactured completely in-house at our state of art location, and are available at prices that are extremely competitive within the world market. We are ISO 9002 Certified and also have received our National Safety Mark, Streit Manufacturing Inc. has preformed testing on a variety of vehicles, such tests indicate that our vehicles are manufactured to meet or exceed the Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards.

At the beginning of 2005 we had a fully operating facility opened in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE. In 2005 we have also opened up a service facility at Camp Brooklin in Baghdad. Our in-country operations make our vehicles most accessible to any agency operating anywhere in the Middle East.

Currently we are one of the largest suppliers of armored vehicles to Iraq and Afghanistan.
